Five police injured in armoured vehicle bombing | Bangkok Post: news

(Photo by Assawin Pakkawan)SONGKHLA: Five border patrol policemen were injured when their armoured truck was attacked with two bombs installed in 15-kilogramme gas cylinders in Thepa district late Sunday night. The policemen then left the scene on Chonnabot Road between Ban Ton Champada and Ban Khuan Ran Tai villages. Chopped steel rods, other shrapnel and the impact of the bombs damaged the armoured truck, including its windows. The injured policemen were identified as Pol Capt Krisada Saengjan, Pol Sen Sgt Maj Chaimat Sripanit, Pol Sen Sgt Maj Mekin Suwantrai, Pol Sub Lt Thaweesak Sribanthao and Pol Cpl Adisak Nueangthong.
